LiOr has crafted this modern, stylised imagery of an aquarium, a seabed, as commissioned for the newborn T. as a light quilt blanket with a hood.
The baby can also use it as a mat, where to spend her leisure tummy time, or laying on her back playing with the 'activity' bridge.
The cotton fabric is soft and textured, with lightly circles worked in contrasting patterns. This provides a lively background for the bubbles among the stylized creatures of the sea.
The lining is pure white cotton, with a lightly padded layer in soft felt cotton.

I have realized my LiOr Designs’ signature bias with the Lamed, the Hebrew letter L, stamped on cotton, in this case with sand-color textile ink. I enriched the hem of the blanket with this bias, hand stitched with a thick cotton orange thread. I super like that crafty quilted feel, and you?
